spring brings big blooms on old trees
showered in flowers and blossoms
raining down onto me
its a petal party, petal confetti,
a bright sunshine disco ball
spinning and spinning and spinning
if i laid here right now
would they cover me completely?
undisturbed, untouched, unseen
unplug me, disconnect me
i too, fell from the heights
changing colors on my way down
left to corrode alone
open up this ground
and swallow me whole
