Lucid nightmares

(Copied from bulletin so I can remember this dream.)

Been having lucid nightmares lately. When I realize I'm asleep the dream world starts to fall apart. The edges of the world start to breathe and eventually crumble like packed sand being displaced. Dream characters' eyes turn black and they attack/chase me, sometimes through multiple layers of dreams where I forget and remember I'm asleep in each layer, each layer's characters turning on me when I remember. It usually feels like a full day has passed when I finally wake up for real.

The most recent time it happened I had a normal albeit weird dream then realized I was asleep and was attacked by one of these black eyed characters. Everything crumbles and I wake up outside a lighthouse. Nearby there's a feeble man in a red robe sitting in a wheelchair by the coast with his back to me. I approach him confused asking where I am. He won't speak to or face me. As I walk around him he spins his chair to keep his back to me. When I get frustrated he tells me I'm still not awake and that I'm probably trapped there forever, because I have been there too many times before and denied God every time. He tells me the only chance I have at leaving is to pray and beg God to let me leave, so I fall to my knees and scream out a prayer. The world starts crumbling again. The man spins around and removes his hood. He has a wormhole for a face and I get sucked into it. Multiple other dream worlds flash around me as I travel through this wormhole and then I wake up for real and I've only been asleep for an hour.

I don't feel like sleeping lately.

You could write some sort of story/script for what you are experiencing... it sounds horrific, and vivid. Do you watch a lot of horror movies?
I've heard 'third eye opening' and being in the astral can evoke these things. Anyway, it would make a good film! :)

Nah I don't watch horror movies. I do have a few good stories from back when I was smoking synthetic marijuana all the time though. It caused me to have out of body experiences basically weekly for a year or so. Some of them I still vividly remember. If only I was a talented writer lol.

Your wording is really amazing and I could imagine all of it playing like a movie in my head. I am now terrified lol
