I worked so hard for so many years & gave my soul to corporate companies who could not care less about me. I did this because after growing up poor I knew I had to grind to make a living. But that life was literally sucking my soul away. I am too much of a free spirit and healer to continue in the corporate world of sales and manipulation. Money is needed to survive, but it is not the only part of survival. There is so much more to this very short life we get on Earth (besides continuing to come back due to reincarnation, but that’s for another blog). I realized that starting over is scary, AND necessary for me. It’s something I have to do to enjoy my time here.
So naturally… I sold my house, quit my job, I’m visiting with family & friends on the east coast, and I’m preparing for my journey out west - to the best coast :). I am getting to drive coast to coast with my best friend & sister, Lelia. I am so excited to share this amazing experience with her. We have some incredible stops planned - stay tuned… more future blogs & updates to come.
Once I make it west, I will get settled into my 1 bedroom apartment. A huge downgrade from my 3 bedroom house, but I couldn’t be more excited! It was the perfect reason to downsize and work towards my goals of living as minimalistic as I can. Then, when I’ve gotten settled and visited the surrounding areas I will look to get a job at a spa to get my foot in the door. Next step is healing arts school to become a massage therapist! A career I’ve wanted since I could remember, but never thought it could be realistic for me. I can’t wait to see what my future holds and hope you enjoy the journey with me!
