This topic has been subject to a lot of debate, however the answer to this question is really quite simple. The best soda is obviously root beer. It doesn't matter what brand or the vessel in which it is contained; root beer is always refreshing for the body and mind. Additionally, root beer has repeating letters which is incredibly sick (sick means cool). Also, root beer has beer in the name and when it comes in a glass bottle it looks like you're drinking real beer. (this is something that only adults can do so it's really cool to look like you're drinking beer). Essentially, root beer is the best and mountain dew lovers can go suck eggs.
