I wanted to introduce myself and provide a little bit of info for any friends looking to code tf out of their profile. My names Hayley and I think we can all agree that this website is AMAZING AND WERE ALL LIVING OUR NOSTALGIC DREAMS.
If you're like me, you used to code like a PRO... like my music was hidden, same as my scrollbar, my profile pic did cool effects when you scrolled over, everything was all in one block & looked super cute.. I probably violated some terms & conditions a bit tbh lol...
ANYWHO-
..now.. not so much. some things came naturally but a lot of stuff was forgotten once myspace died... I think of the coding potential I once had and where I'd be today if I stayed with it. Stay in school kids..
So here you have it. Heres how I edited my profile:
-css code from this blog post. they break it down pretty easily and organized it so perfectly that it should be easy to navigate and keep organized and tips how to customize it yourself. they even provide links for font websites and other websites that generate color palettes for you.
-background from here
***(there is a part in the code where you enter the profile background url, this part I figured out on my own (probably a no brainer for most but if you're like me this is helpful info) but instead of copying the whole code, just copy the part where the website starts, should be the url after the " {background:url( " part on the filter code.

Well, there your have it, how I edited my profile. I'm sure I'm missing some things (still can't find a glitter falling rain generator that works, and I'm working on a playlist/music) lol.
