Dreams About People No Longer in Your Life

I keep having dreams about people who are no longer in my life. Which is fine, they're unworthy of being forgotten. I like those dreams. When I wake up from them, everything's more distant than they already are. It encourages me to look deeper inward than I already am--to look into human memory, which I'll admit, is quite easy to rewrite. Regardless, it's difficult to not harbor leftover emotions. I write better when I have my own feelings to go on. That's when I think my pieces shine the brightest. But that's just me though. I like dreaming of people who aren't in my life anymore.
