Stranded (Poem)

Stranded between two point’s contrary yet the same

I am too much

I am nothing at all

The future is unknown but all the past holds is pain

To follow the light and lose myself?

To tread into the dark and suffer?

To choose would be in vain

When either choice is different but comparable and disdained

The middle point

The same at every angle

Every breath

Every moment

Could it be the right choice?

Not a choice at all?

But can one exist in gray?

Stand and watch the world fade away

With nothing of the dark

And nothing of the light

If it is all wrong then what is right?

Is there any hope that still remains?

When all of it just ends in vein

This poem came out a lot sadder than I intended it to be. Again, I'm not the best writer so please forgive me for this loose and fast poem. I wrote it free form and it has no structure that I know of. Also, even though it does rhyme I don't believe it does so in a consistent manner.
