Films throughout American history can have a notable impact on the public, becoming insanely popular and spanning copycats and sequels. The 2000s is no different, Popular movie Franchises such as Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Fast & Furious, Twilight, and the MCU started in the 2000s. Each gave birth to a frenzy on interest in the source material or just other movies like it. Lord of the Rings is said to have impacted the fantasy genre forever, and people camped out to watch Twilight’s fourth installment, so yes, movie frenzy is very much real.
