The influence of starlets and socialites (Entertainment)

Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian… all of these names are the names of young women in the 2000s that influenced fashion and what it meant to be rich and famous. Starlets, were usually child actors who were now in their teens and in the spotlight. These actors became famous thanks to their skills and the efforts of the companies behind them (for example: Disney or Nickelodeon) They wore the latest trends and partied with the rich socialites of the time, like Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, and Ivanka Trump. What's noteworthy about the title “starlet” is that it implies they are  both female and that their careers were short. Most starlets of the time went down the wrong path and began to struggle with being famous, alcohol, drugs, and mental health. A few starlets would be Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, Raven Symoné, and Amanda Bynes.
