the Foundations of Decay REVIEW !!

i'm sure people are probably tired of hearing about this song, especially if you hang around a lot of mcr lovers XD but to be honest, i think it is worth the hype! here's my totally unbiased review! 

to begin, i think it was a very bold choice to go with "decay" as a theme, but very fitting. the way i see it, "decay" is not necessarily a bad thing! since from it, new life sprouts and there can be beauty found in decay. all things return to earth. it can be a scary thought, but it's the way the cycle goes. and that can be a comforting thought. well- to me at least XD if this band impacted you at all growing up or even in current times, consider yourself the life sprouting from the decay! isn't that a wonderful thing? 

i could sit here and discuss the lyrics in depth, but i feel like i already covered a bit and i only want to really go into what this song means to me. besides, what can i say that hasn't already been said? ^_^;;

we've heard this time and time again, but times really have changed. many of us have also changed with the time, i certainly know i have. but through all this, through all the hardships, the "vermin", we've remained. now, this isn't a high-energy song, and it doesn't need to be! it's a song about the band's legacy, and it does one hell of a job telling the story of their legacy. 

in the end, i liked this song! it was comforting, especially during what i've been going through at the time, to have one of my all time favourite bands drop such a banger of a song ^_^ i've had a lot on my mind these past few days, and this was just something i wanted to share today! my chemical romance has and always will be such a great inspiration to me, so it's something very dear to my heart.
