If you're anything like me and was simply too young for the full myspace experience and lived vicariously through your older siblings in 2006, you were super stoked when people were talking about Friendproject all over other socials.
For those who don't know, Friendproject was another Myspace knockoff site, but was probably made for a christian demographic and was very sketchy to log into. The overall interface was the standard Myspace layout such as this one, however the profile customization process was a bit different, and in my personal opinion, I liked better (loving spacehey, but I gotta keep it real).
I don't know if there's any particular reason for this, but as you may or may not have noticed, the codes from sites like "pimp-my-profile" don't work on here. I assumed it had to do something with the creator wanting the users to be more DIY and "authentic" with the whole process, but as I was customizing the premade codes made on the spacehey "layouts" tab, the code format is completely different. I only noticed this when I was attempting to paste in my old codes from my friendproject account. It only took me a couple hours or so to play around with the codes and figure out what's going on, but I still prefer the old coding. Everything had it's own section and didn't really interfere with each other, or would even accommodate for sizing. in friend project, it didn't matter how wide a gif was, the whole table would adjust to fit, but now you have to change dimensions of the content you paste to fit the remade tables on your spacehey profile.
I doubt anyone will read this but if you did, Im curious to know: if you had a friendproject prior to spacehey, what are your opinions on the differences?
