In Satsu no tenshi (Angels of death), I feel like the ending confuses a lot of people.. I, personally, do not believe Isaac Foster dies, or that Rachel unalived herself. I'm fairly certain Zack broke out. You can even hear the sirens in the background, and Zack explains that he doesn't have a lot of time due to the rapidly approaching police vehicles. And if he were a spirit, he wouldn't have to break the window. Rachel said she could never unalive herself, and even considering the character development she sent through, she vowed to carry their promise with her. The promise would be totally null and void if she took her own life, rather than promising it to Zack.
And for those of you who make the argument, "But it showed them flying/floating"...
Yeah. It also showed Isaac foster inject himself with lethal poison and sustain high voltage electrocution before bleeding HEAVILY without committing liven't, and Dr. Danny with two eyes in one socket and like a 7 inch long tongue, still living after being impaled and then shot a bunch..
