I really like him but

There is this guy I'm friends with but I wanna become more than that.

He is perfect; he is funny, he is smart and is overall a really nice guy. I think he likes me back but every time I think of asking him out, he mentions other girls.

He made a girl a playlist (I've made him one, he hasn't made me one), he still follows said girl even though we both had a major falling out with that girl and he mentions how another won't pay him attention.
