Got confirmed covid positive yesterday

My parents and I all did rapid self tests yesterday after having experienced stuffed noses, runny eyes and itchy throats since coming back home from Germany on Friday so to be on the safe side, we decided to test ourselves. And our tests all came back positive. We have never caught covid in these past two years and for the longest time, I thought I'd end up as a "never covid" case because there have been times I've forgotten to wear a mask and use a hand sanitizer in public (though I've followed through with this 99% of the time when mandates and restrictions were in place) so in the past, there have been situations that easily could've lead to me catching covid, yet somehow I never caugt it until now. Welp, it seems we all end up getting this pesky virus at some point anyway but I'm glad it's the Omicron variant, which is the mildest variant so far and I also got all of my three vaccine shots so that helps put my mind at ease as well. Still, it's no fun dealing with a constant clogged up nose and a throat that feels like sandpaper lol but this too shall pass :)
