Mom's Day

Went to visit Mom for Mother's Day today, we had a good time.

Sometimes with her the conversations can get repetitive, she's declining mentally.

Today she was sharp and funny to boot, a great combination to see. :)

I brought her a card, one with big light-up letters so she could see it better, it did a cheerleader-style cheer as well. And my sister Holly called while I was there, heavy sigh. She called me yesterday, I told her when I'd be visiting Mom and asked her not to call until later in the day.

I don't blame Holly tough, she really is that much of an airhead, she could have just spaced it out.

I'm really glad every time I visit that we found that place for her; the other option we had I have had experience with, visiting someone there, and it was NOT a good facility.

When I left she was already talking to another of her friends there, that made me feel better :)
