Report Blog Entry
Someone I love very much is going to be very far away for the entirety of this summer. It sucks!!! I don't want to talk too much about it, I'm not even really sure how much I can talk about it, but it makes me sad to know I won't see them for a long time and I miss them very much.
Today I managed to speed through Nagatoro volume 10. I bought it a month or so ago, whenever it came out, and only read a few chapters before forgetting about it in favor of a busy college schedule. Now that I'm free with nothing to do, I sat down and read the remaining chapters today. I love this series, but it's gonna suck that the next volume isn't out until July. Will I wait or will I start reading online? I suppose I'll find out eventually.
My potential job application is moving along well. I did a bunch of online stuff for it, and I'm excited. I hope this thing works out!! Funny enough, in one of the documents I was signing off on there was a section that specifically mentioned blogging. There's basically restraints on my ability to shit talk the place on this blog. I found that very amusing, I can't imagine there's too many people like me out there blogging their day-to-day lives still.
Not a lot happened today so I'll keep the rest of this short. I've spent the last few hours listening to records. Mostly Beach Boys, but I did listen to one Weezer record, "Van Weezer." The album turned a year old today, so I celebrated by giving the record a spin. Today's 'song of the day' is Thrown it All Away, a song written back in 1993 that's included as a hidden track on vinyl pressings of the album. Honestly, it's up there as one of the greatest Weezer songs ever.
