"the darkness consumes me"

i try and try and try again.

to climb through the window emitting that soft glow.

that bewitching light.

the light that could save me.

i blink once, and the glorious light starts to diminish.

"oh, please dont leave me now!" i cry out.

faster and faster it abandons me.

i felt if i make one more movement and it surly will be lost forever.

i soon fall down to wail.

to mourn the passing of my last chance of hope.
