there are so many flaws in sonic boom but all at the same time it has to be my favorite media from the franchise.
1. It has its own timeline which makes it easier to follow but it is just really a side story in the entire story line. But it does cover all published media under its title.
2. Amy Rose's character is very off. I love Amy Rose, I think her new and old character design is amazing and adds contrast to the rest of the main characters BUT her personality in sonic boom made me hate her. Amy's voice too high pitched for my liking and not only that but she is very annoying and in your face. I just feel like they could've done better. And I get it its a kids show, but I don't care I am still nitpicking it.
3. Knuckles. Listen I love knuckles but his personality did not fit him what-so-ever. Whenever I hear the name knuckles I don't think of a funny, goofy, clumsy guy like he is depicted as in sonic boom. But he has to be one of my favorites in the show. I appreciate his comedic relief. Not only that but his character design is wonky, its just weird I hate it.

(FLASH WARNING)
Sonic hit puberty and Knuckes took steroids. Amy was unbearably annoying and I couldn't stand to hear her and Sonic fight about pizzazz and pizza one more time. Eggman was ok, but always room for improvement. I loved his different relationships with Shadow and Sonic. Sticks and Tails were perfect as always and probably the best characters. You can't change my mind. Everyone else in that show is dead to me.
