I got my raise!

So after working a whole Saturday shift being scared to ask for the raise, and getting mad at myself for not asking for what I want.

I bought one of my favorite bottles of red wine, opened it. Took a sip and went to bed.

In the morning I had a swig, went into work and about an hour in asked him to speak to him outside. It was now or never.

I got an extra dollar!!! And I used my office brain and drew up a contact that says my wage will go up a dollar every year to be completive with inflation.

And they signed it!!!!

So it's bittersweet that I have to work all the time but hopefully the extra money makes it count.

See you!! I did it.

It was a lot emotionally. I really beat myself up on Saturday, I was like shaking and couldn't even talk to my boss.

But I did it! Go me!
