5/5/22 - (almost) done

I wanted to make a blog post really badly last night, which I suppose is a good thing if I want to keep this thing alive. Only problem is, to celebrate my freedom from college, I took an edible and basically could not function for the rest of the day. I spent the night on facetime with my partner too, and I almost feel bad because I was just unable to play video games or do anything fun with them the whole time. 

Yesterday started in a very cool way: I got to sleep in! I got woken up by my roommate around 9am because I think he had a final he had to go to, but once he was gone I went back to bed and was out until right about noon. It feels like freedom to be able to sleep in again, I hate waking up so early for classes. After that, I moved out of my dorm. Hated that place! Glad to never sleep there again. I'm not sure if I did the moving out process correctly but I'm already gone, so what are they gonna do about it?

I got to hang out with a friend that I talk to via discord all the time but haven't actually seen since a 100 Gecs concert in December yesterday, so that was very cool. We just went and got pizza together since I won a gift card at a campus event last month. That happened later in the afternoon, and then I sped back to campus and finished my microeconomics final. I did not pay attention in that class but thankfully I completed the final with the exact grade I needed to secure an A. Well, an A-. But I don't think that hurts a GPA so much.

After that was my radio show. It's Weezer themed. It was a special show since the semester is at a close, and I closed the show by thanking a bunch of people that have helped make the show possible for the past however many months I've been hosting it. Once the show ended, I went right home and I've  already explained what happened after I did that.

Somebody bought my noise album yesterday, which blew my mind! A full ten dollars for something I made!! It was somebody I know, yes, but it felt super generous of them to actually put money down for something I created. It's so cool to me. you can check the album out here if you'd like. I know somebody asked about it on the last blog and then even complimented it, which is so so so cool.

I also got a mechanical pencil yesterday. My friend made Buzzfeed quiz type thing that suggests you a mechanical pencil that would fit your wants/needs. The pencil I got was only seven bucks on Amazon and since I had a gift card laying around from a survey I did earlier this year, I ordered the pencil and got my hands on it last night. It's really great. The writing comes out bold and feels so smooth to use. The grip is soft and very comfortable, the shaker effect is super cool, and it's very nice looking. My only gripe might be that the eraser is pretty small, but hopefully it still lasts me a while or I can get refills or anything else that would help.

So that brings us to today. I slept in again, finished my English essay, and I'm not sure what to do next. Maybe I'll watch some anime. Maybe I'll play video games. I'll probably rant about that tomorrow.
