TRIGGER WARNING: Hi guys, Its been a minute since I've blogged. I haven't had much inspiration lately for some reason. Anyways, as some of you may know, currently politicians are attempting to-AGAIN- strip women's rights away from them. The sickening part of this isn't just that women are being told what to do with their bodies, but some of the front runners of this "movement" ARE WOMEN. I was watching a video of this trial yesterday and this man goes "So if a 13 year old girl is raped and gets pregnant, should she be forced to carry this felon's baby to term despite the multiple emotional and physical elements of this trauma that will scar her for life" and the WOMAN in the court room goes "She will suffer that trauma whether she delivers the child or not" basically saying that this 13 year old girl that was violated and deprived of her right to choose will be screwed up regardless and that the birth of this baby, that barely has organs formed, is more important than this adolescent human's current life. This is the problem with pro life as a concept. Unfortunately, a lot of people who are pro-life are actually pro- birth. Pro- birth means that people care solely about the delivery of a baby and not if its life will be sustainable, healthy, or even safe. If your first logical response to a baby being born into a dysfunctional situation is to put them into foster care (another dysfunctional situation AS A SYSTEM) that response is very counter-productive. What if there was a way that people who couldn't take care of children could prevent that child's suffering to begin with, wait there is...Banning abortion will not get rid of abortion it will simply remove the safety element and could result in multiple ADULT and TEENAGE deaths, humans that are actually alive will lose their lives because this RIGHT is being removed. I am by no means trying to justify using abortion as a form of birth control. If you know you cant take care of children, use protection, or abstain. But in the instance where it is a mistake/a violation of some ones body abortion needs to be an option and it needs to be SAFELY accessible especially in "The Land of the Free"

babies dont go into foster care and did the foster kids pick u yet?? Pls go tell them to their faces that you think they are better off dead.
If you actually read what I said instead of reading the title of this blog and making preconceived notions, you would realize that is not what I said. I was putting into perspective how people who don't experience these things look at things like foster care as a simple solution. I never said foster children were "better of dead", I was saying that forcing a woman to give birth simply because foster care is an option isn't a logical thought process.
