Guide to following the storyline to Madoka Magica

Madoka Magica is a very good series but personally for me it was a bit hard to follow so here are some notes I took while watching the anime!

Madoka Magica has one main TV series adaption and one movie. There is a TV series that acts as a side story. The other medias include multiple promos and such that aren't all that important to following the timeline (still recommend giving it a watch of course).
