Good Evening.
So Today i've finnaly stopped playing Spongebob The Movie The Game becouse i've runned out of memory card storage.
Since i love that game i wondered if there were more Spongebob games as good as that, i went in the Internet and i find this game called revenge of the Flying Dutchman, i decided to download an illegal ROM Of the game becouse my gba was broken at the time and i had to replace the cover.
Anyways, so i booted the game up, and after playing it i can describe the game with 2 words:
Midly Infuriating.
Like all of the Platforming in this game is just hit or miss, like the gba version of Battle Of Bikini Bottom. By The Way the version of that game uses the same sprites as the revenge of the flying dutchman, why that tho?? and also Speaking of Sprites, They are ok, just not of my favorites.

Battle of Bikini Bottom and Revenge of The Flying Dutchman have some similiarities to each other:
They both use sprites for dialoge and use the same npcs and other stuff, But today we are here to talk about the worse version of spongebob the movie the game on gba (I seriously need help to get that game out of my mind.).
So let's start with the story:
Pretty much spunchbob loses gary and he is searching for him. after the tutorial he discovers that gary was next to this chest that there was the flying Dutchman where spinjibinji thinks he is a genie but he isn't and so The dutchman tricks him in to finding tresures so that he garantee his ''wish''. and that's the plot.
After that, we continue where we left off in the dutchman cutscene continuing with the whole level.
The gameplay is simple, just go somewhere to find 3 keys and find the chests. simple enough, however in this game you have to do a lot of back and fourth, Your stock weapon are the boubles, there are 4 types: Normal, Strong, Flying and Bounce. Normal you trap enemies with it, With strong you straight up Kill them, With flying it creates an bouble platform that you can hop in and fly for a brief moment, and then the bounce that turns your boubles in to a some sort of spring.
you have to find the 3 key and then find a chest to open it, and after you open the chest you win. Whitin' the Levels there are those special stage of jellyfish rodeo, a special stage that reminds me of The Spongeball chalenge from Spongebob The Movie The game (Somebody Help me.), Anyways in the special stage you ride a jellyfish and you collect and dodge stuff. and after that you get some extra lives nothing too special but still a nice bonus.
and also there are these coins that if collected them all you get an minigame that is an rythm game. This Rythm Game Thing is actually pretty fun and way better than the frist few levels of the game, And that's the gameplay.
The frist 2 chapterss: Jellyfish Field Forever and Out and About are pretty bad right off the bat, The only good level in my opinion is The Walking Plankton and The Final Level. But we will get to that later.
Oh and also i forgot: in some levels you get some abilities: Like a karate glove or some boots that you can select with the L button.
Anyways:
Jellyfish Fields Forever looks like a title of a mobile game and it's not much of a fun level The ''Puzzles'' are kinda of stressfull and Some of them require to go back and fourth, like i've said earlier.
Out and About is a fine level It's just the puzzles that kinda of ruins it, like the squidward one that you need to annoy him to make him sound the clarinet that sounds like shit and it breaks an barrier. This isn't much of a puzzle but kinda of an cutscene but when i frist played it (FOR SOME REASON) i went away randomly to find what to do, Untill i went back there and actually did the thing i was supposed to do, so for that stupid experience i find that ''cutscene'' an puzzle, Surely i can't be the only one that did that, anyways after learning some abilities time for The Walking Plakton. It's honestly for me the best Chapter in the game, And the pre final boss is actually pretty good.
after some platforming you get the real final level: Dutchman's Due. It's a long ass level which is pretty fun yes but it goes for tooooooo long. Then after you rescue your friends it's Time for the Final Boss, The Flying Dutchman:
I Have to admit, That was an pretty epic boss fight and the attack scheme is pretty good, Actually now that i think about it every Boss in this game is pretty good, too bad 50% of the levels are bad, Anyways you beat the Dutchman and finnaly gives you the wish, What's the ending? WELL You Choose the ending, From how many coins you've collected you get different options and with different options means Different endings, Which i think it adds replay value to the game, But if you're sane, Then please don't do it.
Well that was the game, Is unfortunate how the game is bad becouse the game looked kinda of promessing, and some of the levels are fun, unfortunaly not all things can be good. So if you're Thinking to buy the game or Pirate it, Don't if you don't want to Stress out in your weekend. So anyways thanks for watching my stupid complains on this stupid game and now i'm going back to play spinjibinji movie the game. Bye!
