smelly

hi hi
today i drove like? an hour north to learn how to change my oil from one of the sergeants that i work with. he's very much so one of those " i literally built a car from scratch and i own every tool known to man" types (he literally did rebuild an old skool vw beetle from scratch, it's dope)
the oil pan i got from autozone was shitty, so we kinda sorta destroyed his driveway. oops
he wasn't too mad thankfully, and the wonderful and illustrious british engineering of my 2006 jag didn't make the process any easier
after my car finished spilling its guts onto his driveway, i chit chatted away with him and his wife and got to meet his kids over a cup of coffee. once the car was all good to go, i made my way to the closest sally's to stock up on some much needed hair dye. my roots have been abysmal for weeks and i finally touched them up today!
i really love the drive between here and where that sergeant lives. i head that way just about every weekend with my one token female friend since her family lives up that way. it was odd driving up during the daylight since we tend to go around 8-9pm and go cemetery hopping. her and her friend k know all the dope spots around town, and we usually stay out until sunrise exploring the graves and searching for spirits. its all good fun until you almost get caught (or you piss off some angry ghost chick in a creepy alabamian graveyard with a burnt down church as the star attraction. i highly advise against doing so)
i didnt go cemetery hopping this past weekend unfortunately, but i am happy i was in that neck of the woods just for the sake of having a long and easy drive filled with good music and time to think and reflect about stuff.
its nice
