The spark of a true loves kiss
A myth that seems so real yet so unbelievably fake. People who believe in the spark are the same people who believe in soulmates, guardian angels and fairies. But is it so wrong to believe? At first, the spark is electric. Most people flinch at the feeling. Although painful it is often seen as comforting. After time the electricity becomes less painful, not needing to flinch. Once that electricity fades so does the passion. Love without passion isn't even love at all. holding hands without butterflies. Kissing without the daze. Being together without excitement.
Its embarrassing to admit, but I believe in the spark of a true loves kiss. I believe that two people can have a burning romance. I believe that the spark is one of the most important things in a relationship. A spark doesn't always mean a flame or a fire. Sparks can mean nothing at all. Even a buring romance can be put out easily with water. A spark can be exciting but you must be careful. Sparks can create a house fire. Even a small flicker can change your life for the worst.
Electricity isn't the only way to produce a spark. Beware of lighters and matches. Though they create a flame, it skips the sparks. Some believe that sparks are unnecessary when you have a flame. A flame can be breathtaking and beautiful on its own and I agree. Just remember that flames are quick to burn out, never lasting long, creating poisoned smoke. A flame can be filled with the same passion as a spark but less electic.
I wish for an eternal flame ignited by the sparks it creates. But that's unrealistic.
Who even thinks like that? Only kids believe in fairytales.
NOTE: i wasn't planning on posting this, I thought it was kinda cheesy and just plain bad writing. Thanks to some friends support I decided to.
