i've finally finished all the coding to my profile. woo

i'll admit, i heard about this place months ago from an old friend on discord, they were very much in a few different alt subcultures, and had a killer art style, and we would always talk about music recs and neopronouns (even though the server we were in wasn't even remotely related to either topic lmao)

they mentioned spacehey once they saw that i was trying to recreate my carrd at the time to look like an old eyesore myspace profile (protip: carrd doesn't let you use html unless you pay for it, so don't even bother)

sorta regret letting this place fall off my radar,, but i'm glad i took the lil' leap today

3 hours later and i have a profile i'm fairly pleased with, bloody and edgy just like an edgy 13 year old. 10/10

hopefully, i stay motivated enough to check spacehey enough and actually force myself to write shit. i'd like to make some new alt friends, and the whole nostalgia factor is comforting to me. i never had a myspace myself, i was a bit too young for that,  but i remember my mom's page (chock full of funky playlists (including an embed for an a perfect circle music video), a sparkly fairy background, and some semi saucy 2 pixel images of her in a bikini that i dont really want to recall. granted, it was 2006, but still, pain) and i remember thinking it was really neat. then i remember begging her to let me make a neopets account. those poor pixels... haven't been fed in  years. shout outs to all the neopets, nintendogs, and tamagochis of our era that've been rotting for 15+ years

anywho, i should probably make dinner now. i need a break from the pc for today. i sorta feel like drawing or watching some ghibli movies.
