my fridge is breathing :0!!!

how come my fridge breathes sometimes @ night i will b laying down ans ill hear the fridge wheezing (like weezer) its kinda funky but creepy too cos i mistake it for a dude breathing and i gets a mini heart attack >.> can i prevet my fridge from breathing or has it taken life and will now be a functional member of society soon :-]
