Woah, what a day or shall I say, its been rather a productive day. I mean I didn't exactly do much in terms of doing my uni work.............I mean nothing at all...........
But...........
I did something today! So I suppose it counts right? idk imma just say it anyways.
I had to go back to my hometown today as I had an important appoinment to attend and so couldn't exactly miss that but on my way back I managed to get some boba, which was okay tbh. I do kinda wished I got some creme brulee stuff that they did though, thats prob my one of my fave flavours from that shop I normally go to.
However, it was super super hot today as in the UK, its basically kinda like summer now and so its longer hours during the day so yeah. Also didn't help that I wore my hoodie throughout too and so its was just super hot. Was not fun sweating all the time tbh.
As I was coming back home, I then noticed that there was a bunch of alternative people around where I am and it was so cool because you basically hardly see them around my area as unfortunately its filled with a bunch of "normies" sadly. It was even more cool when I saw people with anime gear and stuff. However, turns out there was a K-Pop gig that was going on today and so was kinda disappointed that it was not something in relation to anime and stuff. I'm more of a J-Pop/J-Rock listener so it didn't really appeal to me, although I do like some K-pop stuff.
Also managed to go see a film I been wanting to see for a while in the cinema, which is called "Liz and the Blue Bird". The BFI does student discounts for like people under 25/26 (i think) and so got an absolute steal for the ticket prices and with the anime season that they're running too for a couple of months, I could not miss this opportunity at all!
Honestly was a good film, however, I did feel that the film was rather slow at first in terms of understanding the plot and the scenario and was a bit confusing at times but the animation was beautiful nonetheless.
However, pretty super tired after today and so prob gonna have an early night tonight tbh (depending if I can get some sleep or not) but at least I have something to look forward to tomorrow as I'm basically going back to see Your Name (which i've seen it before) but it would be so cool to see it in the theatres.
