DEFIANCE: A Place Like No Other
August 23rd, 2015 was the day I found Defiance. At first it was just another video game to me but it didn't take long to become so much more! I soon after discovered there was also a TV series that the game was based on. Like many other great ones, the show was canceled at least a season or two early. However, all was not lost as the cult following of fans were able to continue our community for more than half a decade longer in the gaming universe.
On April 29th, 2021 at 5am EST we all said our goodbyes as the final episode was filmed. 8 years of Defiance and 3 years of Defiance 2050 to be exact. Full-time or part-time gamer, we were the new cast and crew that allowed Defiance to live on for so much longer! It was an honor to have been part of such a great community and guild(s). Over my close to six years as a player, I met many amazing people who I now consider “good friends” and look forward to starting a new adventure with as many of you as possible. The 12-24 hour streams, gaming sessions, arkfall events, achievement grinds and 1000s of hours played will live on through memories, videos, and screenshots forever! Defiance truly IS "A Place Like No Other".
*Today is the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the game shutting down! ☹☹☹
