Euphoria

Just thinking about how bad season 2 is especially in comparison to season one. Euphoria was so good especially with the special episodes, but season 2 has no rewatchability apart from like maybe the first episode. It's less cohesive and it feels like so much happened but nothing happened at the same time. I feel like they were juggling too many characters and Maddie getting less screen time was sad and how she was treated terribly at the expense of yt girl Cassie and even Jules. She was traumatised for Cassie to go off smiling with Nate and Jules was none the wiser while she got the tape back and subliminally said she loved Nate and he said it too. Even though things didn't end well with Nate and Cassie it almost sends the message that Maddie was the problem and yt girls get treated with more love coz they deserve it. I relate to her so much even though I'm a lesbian and I'm so proud of her I just wish we saw more of her. The only bit that was done well was Rue's development coz she's basically a stand in for the director, but even then her race is ignored it's weird. Season one draws me in to this day and I rewatched it soooooo many times and I have favourite episodes even though I love all of them. Season 2 doesn't feel like something I wanna go back to and the first episode is the only one I've rewatched but even then half the time it was mostly for Maddie.
