Ever since I was a little kid, I dreamed of being either an artist or a veterinarian (later on a vet tech). Things didn't go as planned, obviously. They said I had time, but I'm almost out of it. I'm almost an adult and I can't decide my future. I can't be in the veterinary field because I'm far too squeamish and I can't be an artist because I lost my creativity.
The only thing I can do is act (though I never want to be on stage as a career). My friends say I should become a voice actor, but I know that doesn't pay well. I want to become a radio show host, but I have no idea where to start. I know you have to be over-educated for it.
I have a strong adoration for music, but the only instrument I ever learned to play was the trombone in middle school. I have a lot of singing potential, but I don't have any hopes of making a solo career out of it if I can't play another instrument, like a guitar. I can't afford a guitar and I can't afford lessons. I had a hella cheap guitar, but I always had other things I had to do, such as work and school, so I gave it to my brother. On top of that, I have horrible motivation when it comes to hobbies, if that makes sense. I want to do something, but then it feels unreachable when I just don't want to do it... at all. It's like a strong dislike. It might be an ADHD thing, since I was already medically diagnosed, I guess.
Sorry for the life story (it IS my blog, so I shouldn't even need to apologize). If you're interested in helping me out with job ideas, don't be afraid to shoot a comment.
If I ever do get a guitar and learn to play it, I'll post about it. For now, I can only dream.
Yours truly,
gryphon5
