I watched the new season premiere of Barry last night, holy shit... I had no idea it was going to go so hard right away. I'm freaking out, SO much happened SO quickly and I have no idea how I'm going to survive til next week but truthfully? I kinda missed this weekly episode thrill? discussing it with friends and what the hell is going to happen next, I missed this.
I like the episodic release schedule much better than the netflix binge drop thing, wherein you have to watch it all before discussing it and until then it's hard to find people who've watched what you have, and not spoil anyone else or get spoiled.... the best times I've had culturally discussing it with friends and enjoying the big twists have been with weekly release shows like Mandalorian, Severance, OFMD, where everyone enjoys it together!
Time to go into mind-stasis until next sunday lol
