The passanger

Nothing infuriates me more than being in the car, listening to the radio and hearing the intro for the passenger come on. Because 100% of the time its Iggy fecking Pops version. I hate it so much. The way he sings. All the notes are too short. All the la's sound like they're being sung by a half dead moonshiner. I don't care that his was the original version. I don't care that he wrote it first. Souxie and the Banshees cover will always rein superior. The saxophone. The backing track. The way she sings. Iggy Pop needs to stfu. I try to sing along and I can't because hes halfway through the fecking verse before I've finished my note. The lyric at the end- "what does he see?" when Mr Pop sings it he cuts it off like a bad recording. Souxie Sioux on the other hand sings it for more than a quarter of a second. She actually uses her voice as an instrument. The way she says "tonight" and "you and me" make me want to sing, instead of take out my headphones. I'm sorry Iggy Pop. I just needed to get that out of my system.
