Special Containment Process:

SCP-1427 is to be kept in a highly secured containment cell. No one is permitted to
enter or open SCP-1427's cell. In an emergency where SCP-1427's cell is opened, get as far away from the entity as you can. Do not allow the entity to touch you in any form. Do not try to interact, attack, or fight the entity, you will not win. SCP-1427 is immune to any types of firearms so do not try to shoot the entity, This will only make it more aggressive. If you have been infected by SCP-1427, kill yourself before you turn.

Description:

Black spots have started to show up on random citizens. No one knows why they've contracted the spots. The spots can be removed but they continue to come back until their whole body is covered. When the infection reaches the head, the body shuts down for a few days. These people are pronounced dead. After a few days passed, the body starts to twitch and move. The body waddles as if it's a calf getting up for the first time. After the entity starts moving again, it showcases manic behavior. The creature rushes around the containment cell, supposedly trying to find an escape. Witnesses have seen the entity going as far as slamming his body or head against the walls and floor. The body's material seems weakened and deteriorated. Like the body has already started to decompose. As the entity smashes its body against the hard surfaces, pieces of the body flop to the ground with wet slaps, coated in a black goo-like substance. The entity could even drop limbs or the head. After a part of the body drops, it sits on the ground, stagnant, for a moment. It suddenly begins slithering its way towards the man entity again. It somehow attaches itself to the main body of the entity. This seems to imply that the entity may be immortal or we may be unable to exterminate it. For right now, the entity is unable to escape from the containment cell.

Testing spread:

Research on the spread of the black spots took place on December 21st, XXXX. Lenox Jewell, a biological scientist, decided to experiment to confirm his hypothesis of the way the entity spreads the spots. Prisoners of the state are used for this experiment. Two Prisoners are put into the same containment cell as the entity. Both Prisoners are covered in a heavily armored biohazard suit. As the Prisoners approach the creature, the creature seems to react to the noise of footsteps and the sounds of the heavy biohazard suits. We've determined that the entity is blind and uses sounds to locate its surroundings. In a blink of an eye, the entity launches itself at one of the prisoners after the prisoner had taken another step toward the creature. The entity tackles the man to the ground. We believed the prisoner was unable to be contaminated while wearing the biohazard suit. In the next moments, the researchers and scientists witnessed as the entity manipulated its bodily form to fit into the tiniest cracks of the suit to get inside. The entity seemed to immediately lose interest in the prisoner. After retrieving both prisoners from the cell, Researchers noticed that the prisoner who was attacked was left with a single black dot on his cheek. He was moved to another containment cell.

Symptoms of The Black Spots

Six patients who were infected with SCP-1427 were studied to see what types of symptoms they presented. Each one didn't seem to have any normal ill symptoms. They were put under constant health checkups and none of them showed any signs of being infected.

Observation

Week 1:

Patients have a single black dot on their body. The patients are calm and are acting completely normal. Two of the patients have picked their black spot off.

Week 2:

The spots have started to spread along the patients' bodies. We've noticed that there are more spots on the two patients who picked their spots off in the first week. The patients have become irritable and uncomfortable with their spots. All six patients have started to pick at their spots.

Week 4:

The patients are full of panic as the spots have started to overcome their bodies. They've started to desperately call out to the researchers. They've been banging on the doors and walls for 2 days now. three patients have stopped moving and have been slumped against the walls.

Week 6:

No movement.

Week 7:

The entities have started to get up again.
