April 22, 2022. Day Of Silence. (5 final)

I did it. I went the whole school day without speaking a word to anyone out loud. It was challenging. When I wanted to use the bathroom, I wrote it on a sticky note or a card and showed it to the teacher. When my friends asked me things, they had to wait for me to type or figure out what the signs mean. It was a very fun and challenging experience. It taught me to take a few steps back sometimes and listen more than speaking. But it also showed me how hard it is to be silent when all you want to do is talk! To show your voice and to have a conversation. My friends saw me struggle to communicate at times, but it helped me realize which ones are really important to me cause they helped me out even when they had nothing to gain. 

I spent the last class in the library and it’s a gorgeous day outside. Its sunny and warm, and not too dry or humid. Pretty clouds in the sky and its Friday! I’m looking forward to the weekend, and Attending Anime STL on Sunday :D
