does anyone remember friendster?

when the rest of the world (?) was all about myspace, friendster was the shit here in the philippines (and i believe in other parts of asia too) during the mid-2000s internet era before facebook came around. apart from yahoo search, youtube, and games2girls, this site was one of my first gateways to the internet when i was like 6-7 years old when i caught a glimpse of my aunt using it. i even had my own profile, a cute layout, custom cursors, music playlist widgets that automatically play when you visit, smiley central* shit, and everything else random lol. i recall having ever since the world began by survivor as the first song that would play from my playlist widget lmao.
