OKay, this is from my experience but can also be applied to any school system i guess
so, basically lets say for the sake of this example, you wanted to become a Herbalist.
Here in the US you still would have to do math right? (Algebra, Calc, etc..)
Why would you use any of those types of math in herbalism?
WHICH BRINGS ME TO MY IDEA, complicated? yes probably, worth a shot YES.
So I think kids should only be focusing on things that they would use their own chosen career. SO, if you wanted to be a herbalist, you could chose to take a math course if you wanted to, but it wouldn't be required so you could graduate, this goes for high schoolers..
so, basically you would get to choose what math course you would want to take. Math would be still required to graduate ultimately, but it would be chosen math courses (basics, algebra, cal, etc etc)
Benifits: reduce of stress.
W/ this system the REQUIRED years of math would be 2 yrs of math, BUT if you would want to take an extra year or 2 for math go ahead. But choosing what YOU think you would do well at can lead to less stress ( and less anxiety in my part) instead of the government choosing what math you could take because of what grade you are in. Ultimatly this system would be a much more fluid school, so i guess there would be some problems.
ANYWYAYD my final conclusion is that,
Governments do NOOOT care where you are developmentally, and couldn't care about your mental health. Which is why the american school system is ass.

sadly the canadian school system aint that good either tbh
dont get me started on collages...
and idk if its in america but we have to learn french or spanish in order to get in any collage
and you need all years (twelive is optional but mostly you do it anyway as it helps)
i hate the school system when it comes to mental health...
oh oh! there is a math you can take in my school and i took it as its easier and i liked it but it doesnt count for collage so i have to do grade 10, 11, and 12 math just to make up for it as they didnt talk about how its absolutly usless

The math thing is so messed up wtf!!
Here in America you dont HAVE to learn a language but it does look good in college applications, which is why most students take language classes

this is awesome because i want to become a herbalist and I'm a junior in high school :D
but if you don't know him already, you should research John D. Rockefeller.
he is the man that made the American school system and medical system the way it is today.
The WEALTHIEST man in American history, and started off in the oil industry.
he found out he could use chemicals and shit for medicine, made the med-tech advancements the norm, and make natural medicine seem disgusting and completely ineffective despite it being used all throughout time. Rockefeller openly admitted to how the school systems are made to make workers, not for us to learn and succeed in our chosen path of life/learning/growing. **this is all from my memory of what I've read so pretty please do your own research, its worth it I promise**
so idk how tf ANYONE can just trust our medicine or schooling that goes on in our country when it was clearly evil from the start, not to mention all the other fucked up stuff that has happened since then.

I seriously never saw how school made us succeed “intellectually” but even then they still don’t teach us about how to do anything in the work force unless you sign up for a personal finance class which even then I don’t think shows you how to make resumes etc etc
