I am in college and I am currently a natural resource planning major but I want to switch to a waste management major. Despite this, I am interested in political science so I took Environmental Law and Regulation this semester. Boy was that a mistake. Case law isn't necessarily difficult even it's just extremely overwhelming. My law textbook is super thick and very heavy rip. It's interesting stuff and taught by an enthusiastic professor which is very helpful but it's dense with information. Lots of stuff to remember and it's all very complicated. I have a law exam to do right now but I am procrastinating because it's literally so scary. I am very terrified to be honest. Wish me luck...I'm going to need it.

With dense info, you wanna space out how much you take in. So for every 30 minutes or so of studying, give yourself like a 10 minute break so you can soak in the info and relax your brain a bit. And like someone else said, have faith in your memory. Trust me, you'll take in more than you realize. Good luck on your test!
Thank you sooooo much I often forget to take breaks which definitely is not good.

I totally get that. I would, too. My rule of thumb was if my eyes start feeling heavy/dry, I was overdue for a break lol

You are so brave tbh. You've got balls to attempt the big books

Have more faith in your memory, fear of failure is only going to hold you back further especially if you're procrastinating. You won't improve if you keep delaying your studying but you'll have a better chance of passing if you set a routine, you can definitely learn more in an hour than you think. Good luck tho
YESSS Routines are so important and I keep forgetting to make one but now I think I will. I appreciate you!
