Is it Bronies or Bronys

Somebody needs to correct me it the proper pronounciation is "Bronies" or "Bronys" due to the fact that it feels like a sin to say bronys. What if it's a singular brony? Is it brony and bronies? Also, I was at a comic book store the other day when I came across a brony telling me about his old mlp roleplay game. He was pretty cool. He also likes Paper Mario. Shoutout to the brony I met.
