Why we remember Animal Farm :]

Animal Farm is a novel by Gorge Orwell that satirized the soviet union by showing them as farm animals. Nowadays we assign this book for high school and middle school students, but is it a good book? I believe it is, but not why Mr. Oewell would have expected. Now what is the book about? Well, read this Wikipedia article for a summery because I can't make it short enough to read in this post without cutting out major details

So, why do we remember this book and read it even today? The CIA. The CIA funded a movie adaptation of animal farm that took it's story about the soviet union, and made an anti-communist film, that was accidently a story about how corruption can hurt even the most sound of systems. So, that's why your teacher is assigning you this book, propaganda!
