Every twenty years, the queen MUST have a daughter. The king must be executed (killed) after the child is born because it is known that boys bring bad luck to the crops and the village. If there is a boy born, they cannot stay in the kingdom/village. If it is a royal, it cannot be King. Instead, they'll either have to be put up for adoption in another kingdom or village. If the Queen does not give him up, she'll be executed along with her baby boy.
But once Prince Blake (name meaning dark) was born from the current Queen (Queen Dianna of 1982), he was kept a secret. But, when he was born, ALL THE KIDS that were born the following years were ALL boys. And that was the reason why the kingdom had been abandoned. But after 10 gruesome years, he rebuilt his kingdom, not keeping the age-old rules. Boy's and girls were welcome to the kingdom of Artashia!
But... The prince falls under a curse. A fatal, flowery curse. He must QUICKLY find an heir... before death strikes.
