As someone who didn't grow up with a lot money and personal space, handheld consoles were my preferred gaming systems. I've owned various kinds from a Sega Game Gear to a Nintendo DS, 3DS, and Switch. Collecting old-school handhelds is own of my favorite things to do! What are some of your favorite handheld gaming systems?

prob be the original ds. yeah I know its has less features than the 3ds but the ds really played a huge part of my childhood.
I got a ds for Christmas on year and it was my favorite gift, do many memories of playing sonic and mario party ds. The top screen had broken, but I fixed it a few months ago.

Favourite as in played most games on? PSP.
Favourite as in the most technically impressive/interesting? 3DS. The modding scene for the 3DS goes nuts. Insane how many games that thing can play.
Current favourite? Steam Deck.
Man, I would really love a steam deck. I don't play a lot of my steam games nowadays cuz setting up my laptop to play is a hassle in the small space i have, so having my library in a portable factor would make me more inclined to play them. Also, yeah, 3DS modding and homebrew is so cool.

Same here! I really love it's design and UI. I've been wanting to expand my library for quite a while. i should do so before the games i want become rarer than they already are

same here but usually i just pirate cuz i'm broke
but yea 3ds library is so insane i think it's my fav of any handheld cuz there's just so many classic titles on there

Oh yeah, i want to pirate some games as well. i bought a 3ds that i hacked a while ago and its been fun using homebrew and emulation.
