Need advice~ Minimum wage in Florida.

So for my part time job, its a cashiers job at a local chain restaurant. No Tips, hourly pay.

I've been there for the past year and it's decent for 10 an hour.

Now on the 30th. The minimum wage is going up to 10 an hour for all.

Which means my job won't be competitive anymore.

I'm worried that if I go to my boss and ask for 11 or 12 so its not working for the minimum.

And he says no, I'll have to either quit because my self worth. Or suck it up and stay there but my pride and everything will be horrible.

it's only my part time so it won't be that bad on me but it does help with the bills.

I hate when I have to ask for things and the answer might result in "o now I have to quit"

Like once I had a boyfriend and I told him I loved him and he said he really likes me but he can't love anyone but himself" so I had to break up with him even when I loved him at a time.

This is that type of question.

Any help would be great!
