gardening in an apartment

I miss having my garden like I did when I lived with my parents now that it's getting warm out. I bought some pots and seeds and am planning on starting a small container garden on my patio. I also used to have indoor plants when I lived with my parents but they killed them on accident so I couldn't bring them over once I was settled in. I know it won't be the same but it's still something I can do.
