In the beginning of the internet, we all became broadcasters of our own audiences. We didn't even see it happen. We just cared about this thing or that thing and we wrote about our lives with the unintended consequence of being heard.
You see, we were not built for this. At least not in the evolutionary era of the mind. When you are born into this, it is different. We pass a certain level of understanding down to the next generation as instinct. And just as industrial revolution before us, there is technical revolution after us.
We are not intended to understand what we leave behind.
The best way we can configure an algorithm today is to find what you love, or find what you hate, then propagate it. Because none of us were trained to become broadcasters. Yet our children will be trained by default of existence.
If you can somehow insert cat pictures and videos into your feeds, then you have learned the way to peace. Remove the nonsense by enjoying actual nonsense. Fight back by not fighting at all. And learn where your mind thrives when life can't or won't offer the option for that success.
Cats were only successful in life once. When they were the gods of Egypt and surrounding eras of simplicity. Yet cats exist and behave the exact same ways today and are not gods, how can they be successful?
You still feed them. And thus we will broadcast. Because someone is always willing to reward us, whether as gods or relics of the past. We will exist in one respect or another.
When Cats Were Gods, and when gods were cats
