steve does his best to be Cool Like Herobrine but falls short, though keeps trying his best. steve is unsure of herobrine's intentions, treating him as more of a cautionary mentor. herobrine hates and admires steve's humanity in equal measure, constantly putting obstacles in his way. he won't admit he misses his lost humanity, and is secretly proud of steve when he finally beats the ender dragon.
