Prehistoric Planet - A worthy successor to Walking With Dinosaurs?

Personally, I thought Planet Dinosaur from 2011 was quite good. While the style is different, I considered it a unofficial sequel to Walking With Dinosaurs. The biggest difference is that Planet Dinosaur was 100% CGI whereas WWD had a mix of CGI and live action.

Prehistoric Planet... I don't know. It might be a mix of CGI and live action, or it could be all CGI. We don't know. CGI has gotten so good that it's just impossible to tell what's real and what's not.

I think the only disappointment is that Prehistoric Planet only tackles the end of the Cretaceous, and nothing else. If it's a success, maybe we can get more episodes?
