Hello everyone!
I don't know about the rest of the world but I know at least here in Utah it's been cold AF for a little bit, especially in the mornings.
So as someone with a lot of cats that go both indoors and outdoors I want to remind y'all: Please when you get up in the morning to go to work and you start your car, remember to bang the hood a few times and wait a minute before you start!
Plenty of cats both strays and owned when it gets cold can bunk up in your tire wells and into the hood of your car to stay warm! Keep them safe and keep yourself safe and just take 2 extra minutes out of the morning and check your hood and tire wells for animals!
The same goes for Halloween!
It's getting towards the end of September which means spooky season is already well underway. Please, if you see someone abusing cats of any kind - and especially black ones - do something about it. They're not even and didn't choose to look the way they do, and from all the black cats I've had in my life for that exact reason have been the sweetest things!
So please keep our black furry friends - and all furry friends safe this coming cold season and be the advocate they need. I know I would be devastated to find out my black animal companion spent the last of her life terrified and in pain become someone decided to be cruel.
