romantic relationships are fun and all but you ever had a platonic life partner? no im asking. idk the idea of doing all the things your stereotypical couple does with no romantic attachment seems like the better option to me? like dont get me wrong im a hopeless romantic but so far all of my relationships havent been going that well and NONE have lasted more than a year. at this point i think im done with romantic relationships.
i by no means wanna be alone fir the rest of my life so idk i think a platonic life partner would just work out better. one thats okay with cuddling and kissing wo it meaning anything romantically or even sexually. maybe one thats even okay with casual sex with no strings attached. idk. i doubt ill ever find someone whod be down for a relationship like that

You have your doubts but i've had relationships with close friends like that. After i got out of my last long term relationship i started hanging out with one of my close male friends again. we were always quite "touchy" friends. One night we were just hanging out and as we were about to sleep the sex kinda just happened. I found him attractive but he wasnt my usual type nor would i ever want to date him. the next morning shit was just so casual, like nothing ever happened. From then we carried on casually fucking, kissing, cuddling, not a lot but whenever we wanted to basically, without it being a thing like that. He would make me food, watch shit together, smoke together, basically like a best friend you're fucking. These relationships are out there and can be found, however it takes a certain mentality and thats the rare part. Good communication, good understanding of sex and relationships. A good understanding on the role these play on the mind, and the chemistry that goes into holding a relationship like that, a certain maturity.
