hoodies

sometimes i still wear your hoodie to sleep. even though i know its been months and it doesn't even smell like you anymore. its comforting, and even though were separated i dont wear it because i miss you anymore, i wear it because it validates the fact that some one cared about me enough to let me keep something so personal to them. it gives me hope that there are good people out there, and that one day i will find someone new who will show me affection and give me their hoodie. n yours will go back in the closet, along with the others. i dont keep em as a reminder of you. i keep it as a reminder to myself. that i am worthy of love.
